To end the year...

I don't really have a reason for posting, just that it has been a while, and I felt like i should express some gratitude. I am in love with life right now. I feel like it is going where it should go, and i LOVE that feeling. I am excited to see what 2011 has in store for me. I'm not too stoked for school to start again, but it will be nice at work again once Christmas drama is over. haha Although, January does bring on MANY returns...but once that mess is over...then we can breathe a little, and love our jobs again! haha

I just wanted to take some time to talk about my 2010 year. Beginning the year i was 24, and was very worried what being 25 would be like. Well, let's be real, it hasn't been much different other than i just tell people i'm a year older. But I've been through a lot this year. I have met SO many new people. I've had some dating fiasco's.......some good and some not so good. But that is life, right? If we don't keep going and keep making mistakes and choosing what we think is best for us, we will never learn. Sometimes life is going to hurt, and that is just the way it is.

But sometimes life is AMAZING!! And you never want it to end...We should always be grateful for our blessings! Always. I don't care how hard your life might be, there is always good for you to see...even if it feels so far away, it is there.

This year i made it a goal to go to the temple and do baptisms once a month. Well, i did miss like 3 or 4 months out of the year, but considering it was my first year, and a goal i made....i feel very accompished. My life got better when i would go. It sounds so fake...but really....it honestly did help me so much. It made me feel closer to my Heavenly Father and helped me see a better outcome for my life and helped me see beyond right now. :) I will keep this same goal for 2011, and hopefully i won't miss a month.

Life is SO great right now! I have SO much to be grateful for. Christmas is tomorrow. And I am so grateful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for being put on this earth and for the example He was. I know He lives. And I know He loves us! I LOVE this gospel with all that i have in me. I would be nowhere without it.

My FIRST Jazz Game!

SOOOO MUCH FUUUUUN! I LOVE DERON WILLIAMS! I LOVE RONNIE PRICE! I LOVE KIRILENKO! I LOVE ALL OF THEM! Oh and last night we played the New Jersey Nets...and I also LOVE KRIS HUMPHRIES! (who, p.s. used to play for the Jazz) ha!

I went with Jason , Erin, and Spencer! The ride up was a little scary! ;) But I had a GREAT night! We got to eat in the sponser room and our seats were awesome! I REALLY would LOVE to go again! (Thanks Dad!)

Yay for concerts!!

So, last weekend i was able to attend the "Safetysuit" concert. They were with a founation called "The Second Chance Foundation". It was all about suicide awareness. I lost a friend last year to suicide, and it was very hard, and him and I weren't even all that close. But we had grown up together. It really got me thinking about it more, and how important it is to remember how important you are no matter what. Don't let anyone ever tell you your not worth something, because you are. You are special. NO matter what!

On another note, I am attending the 30 Seconds to Mars concert tomorrow!! SUPER stoked! I have never seen them, so it should be AWESOME! :D

Oh, school!

So it safe to say now that school has started. I am happy. But not. haha This semester is very different than any semester. I actually get to see people at school and have classes with friends and have lunch! haha It is very weird. I am going full time! Which....ugh! Is going to be tough!

I start my day at work at 6am...5 days a week. 6a-9a Then i head to school for my math class four days a week at 10! I am at school from 10-4 everyday....not very fun. everyday i have a two hour block. And some days I actually eat lunch at school. (something NEW to me) haha Something Jentrie has never done until this semester. haha I'm taking Math, Book of Mormon, 2-D Design, Zumba, and English.

So far its been a very good/BUSY semester! And i am ALWAYS tired! haha I will thank work for that...5 is TOO early to wake up...and come the Holidays....I will have to wake up at 4a to be to work at 5...NOT looking forward to that. :(

I enjoy all of my class for the most part. They all have their good and bad parts. We will see how this semester plays out though...wish me luck.

Just a thought...

Today I was thinking about how weird it is how fast we change as the years go by. I was looking at old posts just from 2 years ago even , and I feel like I'm a completely different person now than I was then. I've grown up so much. I feel better and I'm stronger emotionally and I have SO much more experience with life. This is way random I know, but really, it's just weird to me. haha I wouldnt change one thing about my life that has happened. Or now even...well.....yes, I wish i was married...i'm not going to lie, but I know my time will come when it's supposed to. And i'm oddly pretty patient about it coming. haha So that is good. I KNOW i am so not ready to be a mom, so I'm using this time right now I have for myself. I will excel in school and I will try my best to do my best! I know i have so many blessing and opportunities in front of me, and I will use them. Anyway...yeah, this is so RANDOM! But, just thought i would share. :)

TARZAN

This weekend Andrea, Kinsley, and I all went to St. George to visit my cousin Cassidy and go see Tarzan at the Tuacahn! Um...pretty much, LOVED IT! I am so in love with it now! I downloaded the soundtrack and have listened to it like twice since i got home. haha I had SO much fun! I will be making it a yearly trip to teh Tuacahn to see one of their summer shows!

We stayed at Kinsley's family's condo...soooo nice! Friday was Tarzan, Saturday we woke up and layed out and then got ready and went to Vegas!! We went to a mall and got to eat at The Yard House! Yum! Then we drove down the strip and had our windows down and danced to our music! haha It was fun! Then we walked around for a while, did some more shopping! Then went and got cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory and then headed home.

Sunday we woke up and layed out again. Then we went and got Cafe Rio and just chilled at the condo. Ahh...i could live in St. George forever and literally be happy! I LOVE it there! :) It was great to see my cousin and meet her sister in law and her friend and see Tarzan with them! And I had tons of fun with Andie and Kins! Kins has the pics of us from Tarzan, so when she posts them, i will get them! :)

Oh, Temples!

So, i'm sure this is going to be yet another typical post, but seriously i can not express how much i love going to the temple. It honestly makes life seem so much better, and when things are hard, it just reminds you that you can endure and have faith and it gives you strength to pull through everytime. I made a goal this year to go once a month. Sadly i've missed 3 months. :( I know, i am a failure. But i am trying. Its been two months since i was able to go...it felt SO nice to go again. I am so glad Andrea ( "sister?....SSSHHHH!! haha) got to go with me. We're temple buddies. :) I know that as i strive to do my best and have faith, I shouldn't worry about anything else. Life will happen how it is supposed to. You are never lost when you can see the temple. The spirit is always so strong while your inside, and just as strong outside. I am so very blessed for my wonderful life. I have the most amazing family, the most amazing friends, and i know the most amazing people! <3

4th of July!

Well, first off...I was finally able to go swimming for the first time this summer a couple weeks ago with Andie, Aj, and a few other friends! It was fun!

Now moving on to 4th of July! So....like EVERY year we always go to Colleen's house for the Stadium of Fire night. And she lives close so we always walk down and look through the gates to see the performer...this year was Carrie Underwood! She is amazing! :) It was SO much fun! I just have a few pics...and in like two weeks i'm off to cali for 10 days! :D I am SO excited!

I love how we look like we're dating..haha But no people, he is my little bro! Best bro EVER!

So, I just wanted to say that righ tnow life is SO great! I have the best friends, the best family, and i know all the best people! Thank you for being apart of my life...seriously! You're the BEST! And i am a better person beause i know you. :)

Over the last lttle bit...

I have felt like i have been SO busy...and maybe i haven't, but I got trained in a new position at work. I do cash office now, so I get to be there 2 hours before the store opens...at 6AM!!!! Not cool...getting up at 5am, five days a week  just never feels good. But, i don't ever have o close, and that is heavenly! :) This picture if me, Corryn, and Andrea at Cafe Paesan..its like Cafe Rio italian style.YUMMY!





It is FINALLY summer weather and it makes m SO happy! :) I've only layed out once, and i still need to go to seven peaks. I have a pass and have yet to go this year. I feel like SO much has been going on, but i can't think to write anything. hahaha Life is going well!! Its been a while...so i couldn't be happier with how my life is playing out at the moment.

As for posts you should look forward to...these are ALL the things I will be doing this summer that i know of...and some are just things I WANT to do that aren't really planned yet...Cali for dance tour in July, St. George to see Cass and Tarzan at the Tuachan, 4th of July, The Zoo, boating, horse-back riding, just hangin out, lond-borading.....the list could go on...I'm hoping i get to do all thse things this summer! Because once school start in thr fall, i'm hitti ng the books and will have like zero time. haha

THE REST OF SUMMER WILL BE AWESOME!!! I JUST KNOW IT!!! :D

So, since i was younger i have had a LOVE for photography! Taking pictures of random things all the time. I love using different angles and having different views of things the ordinary person wouldn't think about. I have been editing some old pictures of mine lately! So, i thought i'd share some of my favorites! It got me thinking how much i MISS photography. It has been forever since i've been out and doing it! I love taking pictures and adding words to them to also make people think and gain inspiration from them. I think i would LOVE to do this for the rest of my life...work for a magazine and travel or for a company! Or...take my own pictures and sell them! So, i'm going to start again and see where it goes! :)  Hopefully you like them!

Their newest album came out in like October 2009 i think...well, i just bought it today and when i previewed it i loved EVERY song on the album, which rarely happens with some bands...so i bought the whole thing! I am in heaven! Well...I'm 25 now!

And it actually feels nice! I had a good birthday! I had my party a couple days early...we went to Pizza Factory and then headed to my house for cake and games afterwards! Thanks so much to everyone who came! I am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life that care about me. (this includes people who weren't at my party as well...haha I am so blessed to know all he amazning people i know) Yes, even you! haha Well, here are some pictures from my party!
