Love and miss you always...

Bryan "BJ" Benson
1985 ~ 2009

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend Bryan Dean Benson, "BJ" passed away on November 28, 2009. He was born November 2, 1985 in Provo, Utah.

His incredible personality and great talents have touched our lives in so many ways. He loved music and shared his talents in singing and performing. He loved the outdoors---camping, hunting, fishing, horses, water and winter sports. He competed fiercely in motor-cross, baseball, and football.

BJ worked hard and creatively in whatever he did. He loved the excitement of the next big opportunity. His wonderful smile and fun-loving spirit brought joy to his family and friends. He was a true friend to everyone in his life. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, compassion, friendship, and love which BJ brought into our lives. Though we will miss him dearly, he is in the care of our unconditional loving Heavenly Father.

He is survived by his parents Bryan and Jeanne; brothers: Nathan (McKenna & niece, Kennadee), Brandon and Brady; sister: Carrissa; grandparents Norm and Eileen Sammis, Richard and Sue Kennedy, Dean and Pat Benson, and great grandmothers Blanche Benson, Lucille Halloran, and Eileen Murphy. He was preceded in death by grandparents Jerry and Mary Lott, Homer Benson, Viv and Grace Wilkinson.

Family and friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and at an additional viewing at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment - Orem City Cemetery.

*** BJ was one of my first dance partners growing up. Me, him, Alysse, and Casey we were all best friends growing up and had some pretty fun times. :) Bj was always the best. We lost touch for a few years and just this last May we got to see eachother after SO long. I'm grateful for the time i got to spend with him this summer. About a month or so ago was the last time i saw him. He will be greatly missed and i will never forget him. He was a very close friend of mine and will always be. He was amazing and had been through so much. He gave me great hope in myself that i can overcome anything! This past week has been hard to get through and very emotional for me, but I know one day i will see him again and i know he is now in a better place with our Heavenly Father. Love you friend! Miss you always.
